Kim Kardashian Effortlessly Sexy on Allure

Reality sensation Kim Kardashian has stripped off all her make-up and has done a girl-next-door cover for the fashion magazine Allure.

Kim looks effortlessly sexy on the cover, wearing minimal make-up, a nude colored top and beachy unshelved hair.  Kim Kardashian has had a transformation since her separation from her estranged husband Kris Humphries, and she claims that she is a new girl because of it.

Kim K opens up to Allure about herself and how she coped with her public separation and backlash, even still calling Kris Humphries her “husband” during the interview, stating that in reality they are still married. (OK?!)

Kim Kardashian believes that she does not have more haters since her public separation but instead the people that already hated her have a platform to show their distaste for her.  Kim says that now she is more guarded but that the show is who she is and people can take it or leave it.

She tells Allure- “Will I be more private of a person? Am I more guarded? Absolutely”, she continues, “but also, I’m a firm believer that my show is who I am.  People [think] because you film your life on a reality show, you live everything for the cameras.  But we all have our limits.”

Kim Kardashian has had a major transformation as far as make-up is concerned, where before she wouldn’t be caught dead without any makeup on, Kim promised to go make-up free for two months after her separation- “I made a vow I’m not going to wear makeup…for two months,” she continues, “No lashes, no glam, no heels.  I said, ‘I just want to be me.'”

She lasted a month and a half but has been posting pictures of herself au naturel since her Allure interview.  She admits, however, that she feels her best when she has a full face of makeup on stating to Allure-” I truly feel my best when I’m all glammed up.”

We couldn’t agree more.  We love glam Kim more than next door Kim! Although she still looks sexy both ways.

Rooney Mara Explained by Allure Magazine

(Malibu, CA) If you have been asking yourself, whose that girl in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie you are not alone.  Actress Rooney Mara is a newcomer to the world of Hollywood and she may seem familiar to you because she was was in 2010 blockbuster “the Social Network” playing Mark Zuckerberg jaded ex-girlfriend.

Still doesn’t seem familiar? well that may be the point.  When Rooney was picked to be in the American version of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, she believes it was done so because the director wanted it to be that way, she tells Allure magazine–

“I don’t think [director] David [Fincher]’s intention was ever to hire someone well known,””To make this movie, he needed someone that people were unfamiliar with because it’s the only way they would really believe this character. She’s such mystery.  You couldn’t hire someone that people already have a relationship with.“

To prove her point, Scarlett Johansson tried out for the part among other Hollywood heavyweights and lost out to the little known Rooney Mara.

In her Allure cover shoot, Rooney Mara resembles a glamorous celebrity, Rooney’s real self, however, seems to be as much as a misfit as her character from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Allure magazine describes Rooney in appearance as a “moody teenager trying to hide her bruised heart: Her waif like frame is swamped by a dark plaid long-sleeve shirt from J. Crew and baggy dark blue pants from Zara.  She’s wearing a beat-up pair of black boots by AllSaints”

The interview describes Rooney as a person- “Her voice is quietly intelligent, and she doesn’t smile or laugh very much.”  She came from a very affluent background, her grandfather founded the “Pittsburg Steelers” and her great grandfather founded the “New York Giants”.  Wow! talk about a family tree.

January Jones Channels Marilyn Monroe in her Allure Magazine Cover

Actress January Jones may be new to being famous, but the sultry actress is gaining speed fast.  January Jones is one of the main actress in the hugely successful  show Mad Men, and only really became part of the public eye, when a paparazzo shot her coming out of a cab, wearing the same green dress she had worn the night before looking a bit disheveled.  The story went something like “January Jones got some” and “January Jones does the walk of shame” alluring to the idea that January had a one-night stand and was coming home after.


January Jones confessed to Allure magazine that she was not doing the walk of shame at all, but was actually coming home from a friends house.  Jones claims that she let the driver assigned to her go home and that is why she had to take a cab from her friends home.  

January tells Allure- 

“I wish my life was that scandalous, like I’d go from an ocean charity event to some tawdry affair.”


Yet January Jones would soon eat her words, since that is almost exactly what happened in her real life a few months later. 
January Jones announced just few months after this shot was taken, that she was pregnant but would not reveal who the father is. Tsk-tsk!


January Jones was accurate when she told Allure’s interviewer- 

“Being watched by the paparazzi, is like having really strict parents.” 


Including being exceptionally candid with the magazine, January Jones took out her modeling chops and shot an amazing set of pictures for Allure magazine. 


Jones channels Marilyn Monroe in her picture spread and has an uncanny ability to ooze sexuality in these pictures.  January Jones has been compared to Grace Kelly in the past, but with her outspoken, sexy and wild personality, Jones comes closer to being a Marilyn Monroe than a Grace Kelly.

Mila Kunis Mimics Young Angelina Jolie in her Cover of Angeleno

Actress Mila Kunis has picked up some serious steam since her devilish performance in this years hottest movie, The Swan, where she plays alongside academy nominated actress Natalie Portman.  Mila shot the cover of Angeleno magazine where she looks on seductively, mimicking a young Angelina Jolie.  Mila did this interview, a week before her personal life took a spin and her longtime relationship with former child star Macaulay Culkin ended.  

When asked how her relationship was going with Macaulay, Mila refused to answer, even getting a little b*tchy:

What about Macaulay Culkin?


“I wont answer any personal questions, so move on.”


Is he still in the picture?
In a single scoop, she slips a piece of bacon into her mouth, slides an arm through her trench coat and leans forward. There’s a pause.

“I’m trying to save you time here.”

Kim Kardashian mimics Elizabeth Taylor for her photo shoot for Allure magazine.  Kim is inspired by the icon on a daily basis and was thrilled to do all of Elizabeth Taylor’s famous poses for her cover.  During the interview for Allure, Kim revealed some of her beauty secrets that include lathering on moisturizer at night to keep her skin looking vibrant in the morning.  
Kim Kardashian opened up about her infamous sex tape and says that she felt ‘humilated’ by it.  As far as being in the spotlight, Kim says that when she was young she saw MTV’s the Real World and knew then she wanted to be in reality TV.
